I'm headed to Lakeland Florida this weekend to compete with Hawgeyes Nation in the Lakeland Pigfest. The team will consist of myself, Stephanie Wilson from The Slabs and Mike Tucker from Hawgeyes BBQ. Mike is towing down a Horizon smoker from Iowa and we are borrowing the rest of the equipment. The meat is being supplied by Oklahoma Joes BBQ. I'm looking forward to getting away from the cold and snow for a few days. With any luck (and a little effort) I'll post some updates about the contest here on the blog.
